She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Kitchen and Lillian Gladys Kitchen (Walker); and her siblings, Kenneth Marion, Jr., Thomas William, Richard E. Kitchen, Phyllis Darlene Olvera and Betty Mae Orsak.
She is survived by: her husband John Henry Nissen; her children, Cynthia Collen Edwards, John Henry Jr. and James Aaron Nissen; and her nieces and nephews, David Olvera, Eric Olvera, Linda Westhoff, Charles Moser, Patricia Petersen, Douglas Kitchen Sr., Diana Sandlin, Debra Kemp, Darla Benson, Daren Kitchen, Derek Kitchen, Deana Grace and Richard A. Kitchen. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great nieces, and 9 great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
