She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Dawes and Edith Dawes (Jenkins); her husbands, Larry Brookshier and Charles Bowling; her sons-in-law, Lynn Sowards and Don Martin; and her brother Richard Dawes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Sowards and Vickie Martin; her grandchildren, Jayme Proctor (Jesiah), Chris Meyer (Jacqui), Michael Don Martin, Katie Maxwell (Colby), Beth and Bella Sullivan; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Olivia Proctor, Keely, Aiden Meyer, Terry James, Carter and Mystique Maxwell; her brothers, Jim Dawes (Audrey) and Bobby Dawes (Beverly); her sister-in-law Bert Dawes; her niece Penny (Abdi Mirsepassi); and her nephew Mike (Rachel Bowling).
Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chelsea Funeral Home (601 Vine St, Chelsea, OK 74016). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Chelsea (413 Beech St, Chelsea, OK 74016).
