With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa Ann Tuchek of Checotah, Oklahoma, born in Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 91. As Theresa departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Theresa may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Theresa leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Wesley Thaddeus Carpenter and Anna Martha Carpenter (Dakiniewicz); and her brothers, Joseph Carpenter and Raymond Carpenter. She is survived by: her sons, John Tuchek (Maria) of Checotah and Tim Tuchek (Sarah) of Saint Peter, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Lincoln Tuchek, Olivia Tuchek and Timmy Tuchek; and her sisters, JoAnn Heyne of Texas and Rita Wiebold of Nebraska. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
