Though Mike may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Gill and Jewel Gill (Terry). He is survived by: his close friend Pinky Minnick; his children, Brandy Myers (Matt) and Jamie Gill (Apryl) of Texas; his grandchildren, Draven Gill, Parker Myers and Alexis Minnick of Checotah; and his great grandchild Vera Gill.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (311 SW 2nd St, Checotah, OK 74426). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
