We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Jerry L. Jeffries (Checotah, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon Jeffries and Irma Jeffries; his daughter Lisa McCartney; and his sister Barbara Choate. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Reeves; his children, Jerry Jeffries, Jr. (Sandra) of Checotah, Twyla Toman of Checotah and Betty June Land (Stewart) of Checotah; his grandchildren, Jayla Cooper (Blake), Phoenix Walker (Justin), Jeana Sue Weaver (Ryan), Clayton Earlywine (Kayla), Austen Shipley (Haley), Kyle Shipley, Caleb Wilmoth, Marcela Wilmoth, Zachary McCartney (Natalie) and Braden Beeson; and his great grandchildren, Marissa Weaver, Bradley Weaver, Les Pelto, Dee Pelto and Suvi Pelto.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in his memory to the Checotah 4H FFA Booster Club P.O. Box 413 Checotah, Oklahoma 74426, a program that he loved and faithfully supported.
