It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Creel (Checotah, Oklahoma), born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Marvin Creel; his son Jerry Michael Creel; his grandson Joshua Creel; and his brothers, Jack and Roy Creel.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his sister Lahonda Sutton (Delton); his grandson Christopher Creel (Madeleine); and his great grandchildren, Dawson Little, Mason Creel, Joselynn Creel and Joey Creel.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (311 SW 2nd St, Checotah, OK 74426). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lighthouse Christian Center (440 Eunice Burns Dr, Eufaula, OK 74432). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pierce Cemetery.
