In loving memory of Hilly Mae Harjo (Checotah, Oklahoma), who departed this world on February 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Hilly leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Harrison and Silby Harrison (Buck); her husband Floyd Harjo; and her siblings, Addison Harrison, Ramona Davis and Lillie Boen.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Harper (Shawnee); her grandchildren, Caleb Harper, Erica Miller (Joe Miller), Victoria Ziegler and Caitlin Harper; and her great grandchildren, Corey Miller, Caden Miller, Cole Miller, Braiden Fabian and Decel Kanedy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service (211 W Okmulgee Ave, Checotah, OK 74426). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery (1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
