With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Heather Vinson (Checotah, Oklahoma), born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Heather left this world on August 30, 2024 at the age of 54, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Leonard, Vivian Strickland, Roy and Bertha Fisher; her sister-in-law Kathy Vinson Severn; and her father-in-law Robert Vinson (Bob).
She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Ceylon Strickland and Thelma Lee Fisher Strickland of Muskogee; her husband Richard; her sons, Zach and Ty; her siblings, Greg Strickland of Muskogee and Sherry Ragsdale of Warner; her granddaughters, RayLynn and Hallory Tarkington of Checotah; her mother-in-law Ellen Vinson of Checotah; and her siblings-in-law, Robert, Nancy Vinson of Webbers Falls and Gary Severn of Hydro.
Heather requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her memory to the children's ministry of First Baptist Church, Checotah or a charity of your choice.
