It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Duncan of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, born in Verden, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl "W. C." and Minerva Rosabell Duncan (McDaniel); and his siblings, John Duncan, Carl Lee Duncan, Lonnie Duncan, Jerry Duncan, Dee Duncan, Charles Duncan, Lynn Duncan, Robert Richie Duncan, Ruth Lemmond, Sue Penny and Rose Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Carl Wayne Franklin and Rebecca Jean Franklin of Kansas City, Missouri; and his brothers, Tommie Duncan of Tipton and Jessie Duncan of Ravia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
