It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernie Mae Schooley of Chandler, Oklahoma, born in Spiro, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edmond Edward and Esther Lunida Goff Stiles; her husband Billie D. Schooley; her siblings, Eveyln Johnson, Ernestine Philpin, Lottie Jarrard, Estel Stiles and Ruby Cason of Fort Gibson, OK; her children, Darroll (Vicki Schooley) and Elizabeth Ann Schooley of Perkins, OK; and her grandchildren, Misty Arteberry of Kingston, OK, Delia Reed of Sulphur, OK, Johnna Schooley of Edmond, OK, McKenzie Schooley of Springfield, MO and Cameron Schooley of Midwest City, OK. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and other relatives.
