He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Basil Underwood and Lydia Lovella Underwood (Hines); his brother Bill Underwood; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Underwood and Ozcar Vallejo; and his stepfather Lewis Lacher.
He is survived by: his children, Jurl Underwood (Brenda) of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Tina Tait of Chandler, Oklahoma and Michele Underwood of Chandler, Oklahoma; and his sister Julandis Vallejo of Moore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews.
