Naoma Langwell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Naoma Langwell of Chandler, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A Dollison and Dora M Derringer-Dollison (Derringer); her siblings, Violet Lynch, Doris Cline, James Dollison (Jim) and William Earl "Buster" Dollison; her husbands, Oren Austin, John Marion Helm and Al Langwell; her children, Gary Austin (Mary), Bill Austin (Trudy), Wendel Helm, Jimmy Helm, Ricky Helm and Bob Helm; and her grandson Jeff Austin.
She is survived by: her children, David Helm (Kathy) of Stroud, Carol Maier (Farrell) of Edmond, Ben Helm (Sharon) of Drumright, Brenda Rich of Chandler, Marie Boggs (Boyd) of Sparks and Pam Pratt (Wayne) of Chandler; and her grandchildren, Gary Austin, Paula Austin, Wendy Helm, Kim McGlasson, Lacy Helm, John Helm, Tristan Helm, Nikki Hottle, Deana Hess, Christy Johnson, Emily Fruits, Courtney Helm, Brad Ross, Don Helm, Sean Helm, Brett Helm, Bobby Helm, Phillip Williams, Robert Hanmer, Candy Brewer, Boyd Allen Boggs and Michael Pratt. She is also survived by fifty-nine great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren along with other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Home (334501 U. S. Rt. 66, Wellston, OK 74881). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Oak Park Cemetery.
