It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Herndon of Chandler, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ellen Herndon (Jones) and Vernon Herndon; his sons, Carl Dean Herndon and Robert Herndon; and his siblings, Roley Herndon and Phyllis Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Herndon (Shamblin); his sons, Shawn South (Rachelle) of Chandler and Joseph Coleman of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Dustin, Wade South, Ryan and Avery Coleman; his siblings-in-law, Frank Mitchell and Louella Herndon; and his cousin Charlene McElhiney.
