He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Metheny and Fannie Ada Metheny (Rogers); his wife Ann Metheny; his daughter Kelly Crawford; and his grandson Matthew Kalka.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Metheny of Shawnee, Kim Metheny of Shawnee, Karen Gough (Vernon) of Chandler, Karla Kalka (Mark) of Chandler and Kandy Merry of Shawnee; and his grandchildren, Geoff Metheny, Jimmy Brown, Eric Gough, Erin Allen, Kaylee Burchardt, Justin Merry, Kersten Crawford and Konrad Crawford. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Service - Chandler (617 Manvel Ave, Chandler, OK 74834). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
