He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Wesley Smith and Elsie Alice Smith (Simmons); his siblings, Darrell Smith, Rodney Smith, Keith Smith, Johnny Smith, Nadine Smith and Bonnie Arnold; and his niece Gloria Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Arlinda Smith; his children, Harley Joe Smith (Danielle) of Okemah and Cynthia Smith-Sanders (James) of Okemah; his grandchildren, Taylor, Murleen, Kevin, Bonnie, Wesley, Kyra, Lovie and Lania; and his great grandchildren, Cecelia and Serenity. He is also survived by friends and other relatives.
