With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Sheffield Clay of Cartwright, Oklahoma, born in Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 30, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clay and Lavelle Clay; and his son Todd Clay. He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Grover (David) of Burlington, KS; his siblings, Rene Jestis (Olen) of Bokchito, OK, Letitia Pate (John) of Durant, OK, Robert Clay (Karen) of McAlester, OK and Connie Barnett (Gary) of Kingston, OK; his grandchildren, Scott Clay of Pittsburg, KS, Courtney Welch of Tulsa, OK, Elijah Grover (Martina) of Lenexa, KS, Isaiah Grover (Alexcia) of Lenexa, KS and Micah Grover of Great Bend, KS; and his great grandchildren, Kiazer Ruhl and Zaiden Wright.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, Inc or the First Baptist Church, Calera, OK.
