She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ezra and Lura Beatrice Davis (Fox); her son Gregory "Scott" Simpson; her husband J. H.; and her siblings, Donnie Stowers and Oran Harold "Bud" Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Wonda Simpson of Florence, AL; her grandchildren, Bethany Wilson (Matt) of Rogersville, AL and Will (Emily) of Birmingham, AL; and her great grandchild Graham Wilson (Marty Reeves). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which held a special place in her heart.
