She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmit Sands and Verna Sands Wanda (Leader). She is survived by: her former husband Rueben Ahhaitty; her husband Wilbur Ahpeatone; her children, Keith (Belinda Ahpeatone), David (Denise Ahpeatone), Donnie (Margaret Ahhaitty), Charlie (Anna Bell Ahhaitty), Verna Fitzpatrick and Jayne A. (Raymond Cossey); her grandchild Countless; and her great grandchild Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
