With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iverna J Reeves of Carnegie, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Iverna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Iverna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulan Ainsworth and Hazel Ainsworth (Ashcraft); her husband Horace Leo Reeves; and her granddaughter Amanda Reeves. She is survived by: her children, Marty Reeves of Carnegie, OK, Val Reeves of Carnegie, OK, Terrell Reeves (Kenda) of Cooperton, OK and Kirby Reeves (James Kent Warden); and her sisters, DeElda Howard of Visalia, CA and Janice Jordan of Purcell, OKA.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ray & Martha's Funeral Home (20 W Main St, Carnegie, OK 73015). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the Oakgrove Cemetery.
