It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Walter Teague of Carnegie, Oklahoma, born in Jay, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Teague and Sadie Teague (Eslick); his wife Alice Betty Lee Airington; and his daughter Annette Baker. He is survived by: his children, George Allan Teague (Sheila) of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Sheila Teague of Carnegie, Oklahoma; his sisters, Shirley Sheffield of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Corinne Duncan of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Ann Burleson of Carnegie, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Geneva Young, Terra Toppah, Sadie Rader, Michael Christiana, Amanda Christiana, Dustin Ross (Maryann), Trevor Sweeden (Leah), George Teague, Jeremy Teague (Shayla) and Bryant Teague. He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
