She was predeceased by: her son Fredrick Joseph Melrose; her sister Mildred Quinn; and her half-sister Ruby Mae Carter. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Earnest Melrose; her son Ernest Melrose (Judy) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Joseph Melrose (Rebecca) of Wakita, Cynthia Freeman of Wichita, Melissa Bates (John) of Turner and Scott Melrose of Lenexa, Kansas. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
