He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Frech and Olive Jane Frech; and his brother Darrell. He is survived by: his wife Doris Knight; his children, Kevin Frech (Nicole), Kerri Smith (Ryan) and Diana Buckles (Matt); his sisters, Debra Cryer and Carol Bough; his grandchildren, Miranda Frech, Hunter Frech, Bailey Smith, Colton Smith, Cody Seigmann (Devin), Ashley Henderson (Chris) and Briana Buckles; and his great grandchildren, Lydia Seigmann, Josie and Saylor Henderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorials may be given to the Carmen Fire Department through the funeral home.
