It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Hatch (Canton, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 22, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arapaho Chief Arthur Sutton and Sallie Blackbear Sutton; her husband Don Hatch; her siblings, Arapaho Chief Billy Sutton, Arthur Sutton, Cora Mae Scabbyhorse Querderbitty, Patricia Ann Walker, Charlene Lime and Georgia Roberts; her grandchildren, David Youngbear and Daryl Youngbear; and her great grandchild Bourgeois (Booshwah).
She is survived by: her children, Sue, David Silcott of Longdale, Hollie, Duke Youngbear of Watonga, Buddy and Blanca Hatch; her grandchildren, Brian Fielder, Regina Youngbear, Carl Fielder, Melanie Youngbear, Nikki Hatch, Adam Youngbear and Darren Silcott; and her siblings, Arapaho Chief Allen Sutton, Nancy Sutton, Lavonta Kenrick, Wilda Gould, Ava Sutton Benson and Marcella Armijo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, adopted sons, daughters and grandchildren.
