Ora Rooker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ora Rooker of Canton, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Oliver Reed and Cleo Anna Reed (Garl); her siblings, Archie (Bus), Anna, Dewey, Ray, Doris and Dean; her son Robert Lee Hicks Jr. (Bobby); her husbands, Robert L Hicks and Oliver Rooker; and her grandsons, Freddie McCurdy and Shawn McCurdy.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Carol McCurdy (Floyd) of Claremore; her stepsons, Maynard Rooker (Betty) of Canton and Leroy Rooker (Nancy) of Arlington, VA.; and her grandchildren, Eric McCurdy (Lisa) of Claremore, Chris McCurdy of Dallas, TX, Tana Lloyd of Las Vegas, NV, Tracy Hicks (Connie) of Canton, Ladonna Levings of Fairview and Crystal Nelson (Shane) of Fairview. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Major County Senior Citizens in memory of Ora.
