He is survived by: his wife Ruth Dowd; his brother Francis Ray Dowd (Joyce) of Scott City, KS; his children, Joseph Dowd (Cheryl) of Broken Arrow, OK, James Dowd (Michelle) of Beggs, OK, LouAnn Dowd Edwards (Scott) of Houston, TX and DeeAnn Dowd Lemmons (Tom) of Evergreen, CO; and his grandchildren, Michael Lemmons of Evergreen, CO, Alyssa Dowd of Broken Arrow, Rachel Dowd Jordan (Caleb) of Del City, OK, Stephen Dowd (Cassidy) of Midwest City, OK, Danielle Lemmons of Mutual, OK, Ryan Dowd Rakow (Christian) of Checotah, OK, Franklin Lemmons of Rapid City, SD, Bryan Edwards of Houston, TX, Julia Edwards of Albuquerque, NM, Emily Dowd, Erin Dowd, Matthew Dowd (Katie), Jonathan Dowd, Joshua Dowd and Jacob Dowd of Beggs, OK. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
