He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Chiefly; his son Larry Chiefly, Jr.; his siblings, Sharon Chiefly, Linda Key and Kenneth Bowman; and his uncle Maurice "Funny" Lime, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Chiefly, Angela Chiefly, Penny Rusky, Jarvis Daukei, Eric Hail and Vaugh Wallowing Bull; and his sister Carolyn Hamilton. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
