We bid farewell to James Scott of Canton, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 83. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Scott and William Scott; his wife Norma Thoma; and his sisters, Jennie Teske and Margaret Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Scott of Canton, Oklahoma, Christy Scott of Canton and Sharon Littleman (Kenneth) of Yukon, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Timothy Scott of Canton and Kenneth Littleman, Jr. of Yukon; his siblings, John Scott of Bethany, Oklahoma and Billie Hayes of Coweta, Oklahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Annlee Hopkins of Enid, JoAnn Kirkam of Broken Bow, Judy Thoma of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Henry Thoma (Mary) of Prague, Johnny Thoma (Donna) of Prague and Larry Newton of Davis, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and his church family.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierce Funeral Home - Canton (400 W Pne St, Canton, OK 73724). A prayer was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Canton Emergency Response Center (205 N Jefferson St, Canton, OK 73724). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
