He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvey Walters and Marie Walters (Ames); his wife Doris Wheeler; his brothers, Duane Walters and Ralph Walters; and his niece Robin Walters.
He is survived by: his son Alvern "Jay" Walters, Jr. (Margaret) of Washington; his siblings, Johnnie Walters (Aileen) of Castle Rock, Donna Charboneau (Junior) of Seiling and Leonard Walters (Terri) of Canton, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jason Walters, Phillip and Penatha "Penny" Rossiter (Greg); his great grandchildren, Mark Anthony Rossiter and Jason Matthew Rossiter; and his great great grandchild Emma Marie Daly.
Memorials are suggested to the Fountain Cemetery with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.
