It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sommer Dawn Burke of Caney, Oklahoma, born in Ada, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Simpson; her grandparents, Sam, Jo Burke, Lloyd, Dora Rawlins and Robert Merritt; her uncle Gary Rawlins; and her aunt Judy Lane.
She is survived by: her mother Sheryl Simpson (Robert) of Caney, OK; her sisters, Kaylea Simpson of Caney, OK and Shannon Whitworth (Jeff) of Houston, TX; her niece Lexie Whitworth of Houston, TX; and her grandmother Irene Merritt of Coalgate, OK. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
