He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldon Mefford and Pansy Turner; his siblings, Esther Ryden, Julie Gillespie and Arthur "Buddy" Mefford; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Mefford.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; and his sons, Mike and James (Monica). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many neices and nephews.
