He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Young and Annie Young (Hill); and his sister Iris Brockington. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Helen Hood; his wife Mary; his children, James Young (Raychel) and Sonya Young of Canadian, OK; his brother Abner Young (Virginia) of Como, MS; and his brother-in-law Donnie Brockington of Jacksonville, AR. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
