He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Keiser Giddens; his children, Tami Dawn Sullivan (Fran) of Southeast, Tennessee and Scott Smith of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his adoptive sons, Robert and Riley; his stepdaughters, Judith J. Burgin of Shawnee and Lora Ann Witt of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Carol Ann of Wichita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Callie Sullivan, Keegan Sullivan, Mindy Jo Smith, Angie Smith and Richard Smith; and his sister-in-law Eddie (Linda Keiser). He is also survived by five step grandchildren, three great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren; brother.
