He was predeceased by: his father Ray Carrol. He is survived by: his close friend Elinor Hopper of Cameron; his brother Greg Carpenter (Cheryl) of Cameron; his half-siblings, Donna Sue Duncan (Greg) of Spiro, Gary Lawson of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Toby Lawson (Carol) of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and his stepmother Sue Carpenter of Cameron.
