He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Ellison Jr. and Ruth Ellison (Davis); and his brother Thomas Percy. He is survived by: his wife Joan Ellison; his sons, Adam Ellison (Brandy), Chad Ellison (Jessica) and Cody Ellison; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jade, Madison, Garrett, Layken and Rosalea; and his siblings, James Ellison Sr. (Arlene), Vernon Ellison, Clinton Ellison (Tracy), Judy Shoemate (William) and Robin Funk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ALS Association, Army Veteran Organizations, or the Guy Ellison memorial/flagpole fund at the Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno, OK.
