He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Rosetta (Pittman) and James Thomas Gatlin; his siblings, Stan Gatlin and Claretta Gatlin; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Barkley); his children, Stacy Gatlin (Lacey) of Durant, Oklahoma and Michelle Burgess of Durant, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Alexis Wood (Harrison), RaeLeigh Gatlin, Ryan Vanzandt, Tyler Burgess and Gracey Gatlin; his sister LaNesa Floyd of Durant, Oklahoma; and his close friends, Tim Kranny, Terry Hutchings, Ronnie Barkley and Leonard Wallace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
