It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel Cleo Chastain (Calera, Oklahoma), born in Clayton, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe E Gardner and Pearl Sparkman Gardner; her husband R. C. Chastain; her son Craig; and her brothers, Finis, Bud and Eual.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Jo and Donna Briggs (Norman) of Cartwright, OK; her grandchildren, Jeff Briggs of Haslet, TX, Scott Briggs of Justin and Angie Smith (Kurtis) of Colbert, OK; and her sisters, Juanita Blair of Pasadena, TX and Oweta Skrimager of Idabel, OK. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
