He was predeceased by: his parents, Neho Louviere and Eileen Joyce Louviere (May); and his brother Ted Louviere. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jane Louviere (Coker); his children, Tammy Winn (Chelsey) of Chalmette, Judy Marie Nelson of Marble Falls, Kathy Fern Cowen White (Michael) of Leander, Texas, David Louviere, Jr. of Anadarko, Charles "Sonny" Cowen, Jr. of Leander and Terry Bannach of Leander, Texas; his grandchildren, Nathan (Mela), Kaden, Robin, Brian (Lynn), Andrew (Heather), Cathryn, Brianna, Cory and Aaron; his great grandchildren, John, Wesley, Baylee, Troy, Mattea, Ashtyn, Joshua, Kaden, Anthony and August; his great great grandchild Paul Wesley; and his siblings, Ronnie Louviere of Houston, R. T. Louviere of Church Point, Kenny Louviere of Church Point and Debbie Louviere of Los Angeles.
