He is survived by: his son Kenny Phelps of Durant; his grandchildren, Kim Phelps (Jennifer) of Durant and Falon Nelson (Chris) of Durant; his great grandchildren, Harlee Mullens, Jake Mullens, Presley Nelson and Matthew Phelps; his stepgrandson Braydon Wright; his stepson Billy Countryman of Ardmore; his sister-in-law Marvetta Phelps of Old Allison; his nieces and nephews, Gina Harris, Jason Phelps, Rayford Phelps, Jimmy Edelen, Joey Edelen, Tim Phelps and Debbie Wells; his aunt Dorothy McDaniel; and his friend Kenneth Fields.
