He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Fryer; and his granddaughter Kaitlin. He is survived by: his sons, Larry Fryer (Christie) of Caddo and Mike Fryer (Tamara) of Durant, Oklahoma; his granddaughters, Abby Jo Fryer of Stillwater and Kesha Callicoat (Steve) of Caddo, Oklahoma; and his brother Jim Fryer (Dena) of Calera. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
