She was predeceased by: her former husband Preston Sampson; her parents, Luther Higgs and Minnie Griffin Higgs; her parents-in-law, Simp and Nora White Sampson; her son David Preston Sampson (Archie Wayne Sampson); and her siblings, Theodore Higgs (Ted), Dave Higgs, Beth Fincher, Luther Higgs, Mary Lee Northcutt, Johnny Robert Higgs (Bobby) and Yvonne Cozbey Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Sampson (Billie) of Durant, Betty Nickles of Caddo and Mary Tate (Mike) of Durant; her grandchildren, Michelle Nickles of Caddo and Wayne Sampson (Denese) of Coleman; and her husband Mike of Richardson, TX.. She is also survived by Many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also many nephews and nieces.
