He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence H. Hicks and Mary Jane Hicks (Jacob); his siblings, C. H. Hicks, James Hicks, Keith Hicks and Maxie Rogers; and his granddaughter Anna Grace Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hicks; his children, Johnny Hicks of Caney, Joe Hicks of Caney, Dalton James Hicks (Jennifer) of Durant, Austin Matthew Hicks of Caddo, Oklahoma and Judy Stan (Jamie) of London, Canada; and his siblings, Mary Nell Tucker of Durant, Mara Nell Sheffield of Durant, Oklahoma, Geary Hicks of Eufaula and Travis Hicks (Mary) of Durant, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.
