She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Simmons and Katie Colleen Bishop Simmons (Bishop); her former husband Ken Griffitts; her siblings-in-law, Paul Hill and Jo Lynn Simmons; and her cousin Ramona Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Rick Mahaffey; her children, Brian Griffitts, Tara Mahaffey and Tathena Griffitts Shaw; her siblings, Rickey D, Susan Simmons Hill, Todd Simmons (Kate) of New Orleans and Larry Cowan (Rhonda) of Lawton; her nephew Chad Pollock (Janna); her aunts, Geneva Simmons and Roberta Bishop; and her cousins, Gary Simmons (Deb), Scott Simmons (Victoria), Robert Bishop (Freda), Scott Bishop and Jeffie Bishop (Holly) of Cache, JJ. She is also survived by seven grandkids, four great grands, and four great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
