He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Christine (Perricone) and Albert Elmo Nettles, Sr.; his daughter Elizabeth Nettles; his siblings, Deberah Summers and Domenick Nettles; and his grandsons, Everett Mills, Shorty Mason, Dakota Mason and Chester Hiatt.
He is survived by: his wife Ola Nettles; his children, Albert Bearden (Erika), Jimmy Bearden, Billy Nettles, Andrew Nettles, Rodger Mason (Kathy), Jimmie Mason (Primor), Lola Mills, Mary Oberkrom and Kandy Porter; his siblings, Ronnie Nettles and Rachel Nettles (David Harris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, John Fergason and Gaylon Fergason, Jr.; and also Gaylon Fergason, Sr.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
