He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Ferrell and Maude Ferrell; his siblings, Bobby Ferrell, Billy Ferrell, Jimmy Ferrell, Henry Ferrell, Rosalie Morgan, Pauline Collings and Dolly Daniels; his son Vernon Leon Ferrell; and also, Vern Miller and Velma Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Alyce; his daughters, Vickie Snapp (John) and Beckie Miller (Ron); his granddaughters, Melissa Edwards (Jeremy) and Julie Hicks (Darren); his great grandchildren, Madison of Wichita, Mason of Wichita, Miles Edwards of Wichita, Avery Hicks of Wichita and Allie Hicks of Wichita; his brothers, Teddy Ferrell (Margie) of Wichita and Benny Ferrell (Adele) of Denton; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Ferrell of Burlington and Alta Michaelis of Hays. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
