With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jane Colson of Burlington, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Jane Colson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Cook and Beulah Cook; her sister Pat Frieden; her son Craig Colson; and her nephew Blayne Frieden.

She is survived by: her husband Willis D. Colson of Burlington; her children, Nick Colson (Renee) of Tulsa and Jill Haub (Troy) of Kingfisher; her grandsons, Docker and Declan Haub of Kingfisher; her brother Mike Cook (Rhonda) of Alva; her nieces, Kit Frieden Shook (Phil) of Houston and Gina Frieden of Nashville; and her great-niece Beth Shook of Houston. She is also survived by her family, traveling with her friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial donation to the Burlington Education Foundation, through the funeral home.
