We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2022, at the age of 85, Mary Anne Newton of Burlington, Oklahoma, born in Kiowa, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Circle and Blanche Hazelton Circle; her granddaughter Lauren; and her husband Jake. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Rooks (Butch) of Kiowa, Laurie Shelite (Rock) of Kiowa, Lisa Newton of Kiowa and Shelly Merklein (Mitch) of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Robyn Whitaker (Casey), Candi Maddux (Justin), Holly Rooks (Carson Launchbaugh), Heather Grabar (Brad), Heath Shelite (Liz), Todd Shelite (Rachel), Kali Faircloth (Joe) and Erin Nicholson (David); her great grandchildren, Trevor Rooks, Chloe, Cara Whitaker, Reese, Peyton Maddux, Beck, Halle Grabar, Mia, Isla, Kate Shelite, Veda Shelite, Baker, Maisie, Jase Faircloth and Charlotte Nicholson; and her sister Peggy Lou of Tustin, California. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends, The grandkids.

Memorials may be given to the Kiowa United Methodist Church or the General Store through the funeral home.
