He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Cornelius Bolin and Nellie Mae Bolin (Smith); and his siblings, Don Bolin, Johnny Bolin and Naomi Gourd.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Bolin (Holmes); his children, Melinda Bolin, Priscilla Bolin and Dale Bolin (Laverna Bolin); his grandchildren, Starla Bolin (Shawn Davis), Rudy Bolin and Ryan Bolin; his great grandchildren, Kaisen Dean Kirk, Odell Bolin, Silas Davis, Serenity Davis, Kandice, Elaina and Lakya; and his siblings, David Bolin, Donald Ray (Jean Bolin), Ella "Tech" Bolin, Mary Pritchett, Martha Jones and Jennie Kay Bolin.
