It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Sargent of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Royce and Eula Faye Powell Sargent; his sister Linda Ann Winkley; his brother-in-law David Piearcy; his son-in-law Ty Schlomer; and his stepson-in-law Tony Treat.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sargent of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his daughters, Michele Wilcher (David) of Ogden, Vicki Shockley (Greg) of Hot Springs, Tamera Bond (Danny) of Fort Smith and Jana Cursh (Junior) of Hooks, Texas; his stepchildren, Jeanie Treat of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Jimbo Holder of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his sisters, Virginia Piearcy of Justin and Carolyn Skelton (Gordon) of Valliant, Oklahoma; and the mother of his child Ernestine Shelton of Mena, Arkansas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
