She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Kious and Sevalow Kious (Ward); her husband Weldon James; her former husband Jerry Bray; her sons, Jerry Bray, Jr., Joey Bray and Terry James; and her brothers, Dean and Bo.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Towery (Scott Ross) of Broken Bow, OK, Kristi Webb of Moore, OK, Russell Wright (Rhonda) of Colorodo, Stanley Bray, Jessie Bray of Texarkana, TX, Roger James (Brenda Dodson) of Houston, TX and Lee Weldon James, Jr. of Louisiana; her sisters, Arlena, Edna Faye, Katherine and Linda; her grandchildren, Josh James (Kiym), Sarah James, Jessica Reece and Mason Towery (Cali); and her great grandchildren, Atticus, Atlas Towery, Cadence and Kylie James.
Virginia and Weldon James were united in marriage on March 6, 2010 at Charity Baptist Church and shared ten wonderful years before his passing on September 27, 2020.
