He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Holmes; his son Roger Andrew Holmes; his great grandchild Anabel Fox; his siblings, Elmer "PeeWee", Harmon "Boots", Ora, Robert, Marvin, Vester Holmes, Lillie Garner, Viola Stovall and Lorene Rhodes; and his parents, Elige Holmes and Clara Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cline; his daughters, Nancy Compton of Little Rock, AR and Betty Fox of Rowlett, TX; his grandchildren, Michael Fox (Heather) of Forney, TX and Taylor Compton of Little Rock, AR; his great grandchildren, Jailyn of Texas, Silas of Texas, Gavin of Texas and Hannah Fox of Texas; and his close friend Don Flowers. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
